Even  if you think you are “too stiff’ to do yoga,” be encouraged that even a little stretching, spinal twists, breathing to calm the mind has powerful positive impact. Simple yoga stretches reduce aches and pains, energize, build brain cells, help manage blood pressure, just do as much or as little as suits your body. Use these classes as a doorway to feel good in your body and find mindfulness and peace.

YOGA FOR THE GARDENER Video and Workshop

Gentle stretches, rotations, muscle and joint warm-ups to do BEFORE, DURING and AFTER gardening to reduce aches and pains and potential injury from doing what you love!
The Video is available as a DVD or mp4 download and is narrated and sub-titled so easy to follow. Great for all ages and especially good for 50+ and SENIORS.
The Workshop is a 45-minute live or Zoom experience designed for active older adults in everyday street clothes. Susie has presents the workshop for garden clubs, botanic gardens, nurseries and senior associations.

Susie Teaches Meditation

Susie has practiced and taught yoga for 40 years, has taught/choreographed and performed dance for 50 years and has been a practitioner and Certified Teacher in Actualism Meditation for 35 years. Her yoga instruction and guided meditations are infused and informed by a depth of experience and time developing an awareness and a deep connection of body, mind and spirit. And yet she is deeply grounded in every day wonder, awe, relationship and enthusiasm. She is available by private appointment to teach this practice for

  • mindfulness
  • quieting and directing thought towards greater self-awareness
  • opening up to creativity and problem solving
  • stress management, life balance, productivity
  • self-acceptance and peace of mind

Susie teaches Zumba Gold/Dance Exercise for 50+ and Active Older Adults

Zumba Gold/Dance Exercise is for older adults, generally 50 and older. Her students range from50 to 92 years young! Energetic, enthusiastic and fun low impact dance exercise. Since COVID, Susie teaches live stream FREE classes on Facebook LIVE and YouTube LIVE. See class times below.

Susie has taught and performed modern and jazz dance for 50 years. She is consummate at helping non-dancers learn how to DANCE and enjoy the process! Unique to Susie’s classes are that she also has created and directs her students in a performance group, SOS (Seniors Over Sixty) Dance Crew. The Crew does Flash Mobs at various festivals and entertains the elderly at assisted living/memory care facilities. To learn more and watch videos of the crew in action, go to
