The Vanderlip’s are a husband-wife team, married since June 1984, that fuse their passions, educations, life experience and hope to bring an eclectic blend of messages, workshops, products and personal connection to both youth and adults, associations, schools, conferences and corporations.

Ken Vanderlip, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist with over 30 years’ experience in private practice with specialties in: Stress and stress related disorders, Peak Performance, and PTSD. He is a Certified EMDR Therapist, as well as an Approved Consultant for EMDR and an EMDR Institute facilitator for EMDR trainings for therapists and psychologists. In addition, he has 50 years’ experience in the martial art of Judo with a 6th degree Black Belt and Sensei at a dojo for over 40 years.

He is an Ordained Minister and Teacher in Actualism meditation, which he incorporates into his psychology practice. He has a calm strength and warm presence plus a deep resonant voice that make his guided meditation CDs (and digital downloads) remarkably soothing, reassuring and uplifting. Ken is co-author with wife, Susie, of the De-Stress for Success® Workbook and Media Pack. Ken presents individually and jointly with wife, Susie, De-Stress for Success® Seminars and Workshops in a wide variety of settings.

Susie Vanderlip, CSP, CPAE is a professional speaker, author, photographer, videographer, dancer, actress and instructor in a variety of areas. For the past 25 years, she has toured across the US and Canada to over one million youth and adults presenting school assemblies and keynoting youth and adult conferences with her original one-woman theatrical presentation Legacy of Hope® to address the emotional and social issues of youth and families – alcohol and drug abuse, teen pregnancy, gangs, self-injury, suicide, bullying, depression and more.

This outreach has earned her the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation from the National Speakers Association and induction into the “Speakers Hall of Fame” and CPAE designation.

She has presented De-Stress for Success® Workshops following her Legacy of Hope® Keynote at conferences for both youth and adults individually and jointly with husband, Ken. Her Legacy Keynote creates a personal connection with audiences and awareness of emotions. De-Stress Workshops provide the concrete tools for alleviating the stress, anxiety, worry, burnout and disruptive feelings that motivate destructive choices and sap the joy from our lives.

Susie is also the Monarch Conservation Specialist in southern California for Monarch Watch, a contributing “Champ” to Western Monarch Advocates, a Monarch Butterfly Citizen Scientist, and Administrator for the Facebook Group “Monarch Butterfly Guardians – southern California”. She actively educates and speaks, raises, photographs and writes about Monarch Butterflies. She has authored the children’s photo storybook and produced the 10-minute movie/DVD The Story of Chester, the Monarch Caterpillar/Larva about monarch butterfly life cycle. Both products are in Pre K thru 2nd grade classrooms as they meet STEM requirements for life science curriculum. The book and DVD are also in gift shops at various museums, boutiques, and available thru Carolina Biological Supply or directly from her website. She speaks professionally on monarch butterflies. Sharing many of her vibrant photos and engaging video clips from her garden. She has lectured at the Aquarium of the Pacific, Garden clubs and conferences including the National Science Teachers Association tying science, literacy, creativity and technology together in the classroom.

Susie also has created a full line of beautiful photo greeting cards that have a photo on the front of the card plus a photo on the inside, making them unique and twice as appealing. Her cards are sold online on our website and in boutiques, floral shops, and specialty grocery stores.
